Tour News - The countdown is on to the famed Titirangi Festival of Music - 21st October 2025

Presented by TFM

The countdown is on to one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s most popular community events - the  Titirangi Festival of Music being held this Labour Weekend.

The two-day festival kicks off on Saturday October 25th, when the beautiful Titirangi Village will host an all-day programme of free music, cultural and community performances. This includes a concert featuring Aotearoa music legend Annie Crummer, rising sensation Arjuna Oakes and Albi and the Wolves at DECO.

There had been a concert planned for The Hollywood Theatre in Avondale that evening, but this is no longer going ahead. “Due to lower-than-expected engagement and ticket sales, the Titirangi Festival Trust has made the difficult decision to cancel The Hollywood Concert on the evening of Sunday October 26th. While this outcome is disappointing, it was made after careful consideration to ensure the overall sustainability and success of the festival.”

Despite the cancellation, all other ticketed and free events in the festival programme will proceed as planned. And with two days of top class entertainment for the whole family planned, the Titirangi Festival of Music promises to be an extravaganza not to be missed.

This includes the Avondale Memorial Park Stage daytime programme on Sunday, October 26 featuring Thabani Gabara, Marmalade, Mikaela Cougar and more. This event is completely free!

“We deeply appreciate everyone’s continued support and investment in local music, arts, and community events. Your contribution helps make the Titirangi Festival of Music possible, and we look forward to sharing a fantastic weekend of performances with you.”

The Titirangi Festival of Music isn’t just another city festival - it’s woven into the fabric of a beautiful, arts-focused community. Titirangi Village itself becomes the stage; alive with free performances, local groups, and for the first time this year, a dedicated cultural stage celebrating the diverse voices of Aotearoa.

The festival has a strong tradition of bringing in major headline acts, while also championing grassroots talent, and people travel from all over Auckland to experience its mix of world-class artistry and community.
