Libel Music was one of New Zealand’s first online ‘Independent Music Mags/Blogs’ dedicated to music, theatre, arts & the entertainment industry founded in August 2006.
On the smell of an oily rag, tooth-picks at times to keep eyes open & genuine passion for music, we’ve been blessed to support so many local NZ artists to superstars! The stars though; are truly the ones you don’t see; the contributors the writers, photographers, journalists, interviewers, editors through to PR teams that all make the business of show!
Libel Music NZ has a special passion for preserving our music history. We take care to record as much detail about everything we cover as we can; this takes quite a bit of time, effort & money. There are no paywalls blocking access to the publication nor our archives; our hope is to always keep this free to access as we face raising costs, more time restraints & expectations in the media on a daily basis.
