Tour News - Thornhill Australian Tour 2026 With Special Guests Amira Elfeky (USA), Paledusk (JPN) + HEAVENSGATE - February 2026
Presented by: Destroy All Lines
Releasing their most dauntless album to date earlier this year, Melbourne's THORNHILL are set to celebrate their 2025 opus BODIES on home soil next February, marking both their first Australian shows since the album's release and also the group's biggest headline shows to date, joined in 2026 by special guests AMIRA ELFEKY (USA), PALEDUSK (Japan) and HEAVENSGATE.
Commencing on Saturday 21 February in Brisbane, THORNHILL will then celebrate BODIES and other Thorny sonic favourites with fans in Sydney, Perth and Adelaide, before concluding on Friday 27 February in Melbourne.
"This our first Australia headline run since the album dropped, and we’ve put everything into making it something memorable. These are the biggest shows we’ve played on our own, and we’ve curated a lineup that feels really special to us. Fans can expect a whole new energy and a night that really captures where Thornhill is at right now." - Thornhill
With a global reputation for redefining heavy music via innovation and authenticity, THORNHILL have amassed a towering array of accolades since forming in 2015, with their 2025 masterpiece BODIES firmly emerging as a career-defining moment for the quartet, both critically and creatively.
Debuting at #4 on the ARIA Top Albums Chart, #2 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart, and #3 on the Top Vinyl Albums Chart, BODIES was also tapped as triple j's Feature Album upon release, was critically praised for its "lascivious sense of charisma" by KERRANG!, and saw THORNHILL perform three entirely sold out album preview shows in Australia ahead of its release.
Previously, THORNHILL ticked off triple j's Feature Album for their 2019 breakout debut album The Dark Pool, which also saw additions to countless Best Of The Year listings, while their 2022 sophomore album Heroine saw the group debut at #3 on the ARIA Albums charts and #1 on the ARIA Australian Albums charts, with Heroine also nominated for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album at the 2022 ARIA Music Awards.
On a live front, THORNHILL will close out 2025 touring as direct support to Sleep Token across North America this September and October for an entirely sold out run, before headlining across Europe and the UK this November, with two shows already sold out.
Making her Australian debut in 2026, American songstress AMIRA ELFEKY will arrive armed with her latest EP Surrender, as well as her bewitching blend of influences spanning Deftones through to Evanescence. In command of over 1.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, AMIRA ELFEKY has been declared as "one of the pillars" of the next generation of heavy rock by Ones To Watch and a "Gen Z nu-metal revivalist" by Revolver, and will end 2025 on a soaring high supporting Bring Me The Horizon in North America along with Motionless In White and The Plot In You.
Hailing from Fukuoka in Japan, PALEDUSK forge metalcore, industrial, nu metal and EDM into their unforgettable and ever-future-facing sound. Previously stupefying Australian audiences at Good Things Festival in 2022, supporting Crossfaith down under in 2024 and, most recently, joining Ocean Grove for a tour in 2024, PALEDUSK's high-octane live performance is the stuff of legend, with a studio album and multiple EPs in their wake they have shown no signs of slowing down with their latest single HUGS featuring in the new Japanese anime Gachiakuta.
Melbourne heavies HEAVENSGATE are well-versed in balancing intensity and catharsis, weaving themes of loss and pain through a lens of modern hardcore and balanced savagery. Recently announcing their signing to Pure Noise Records, in collaboration with Greyscale Records, HEAVENSGATE released a brand new single OBLIVION to kick off their new creative chapter. Previously sharing stages with the likes of While She Sleeps and August Burns Red, HEAVENSGATE will also tour internationally with We Came As Romans and Like Moths to Flames later this year.
