Who says The 4th of July is only celebrated in the US?
Today, we bring the United States Of America to Australia with the announcement of a double pairing of America's finest musical exports, united in a charge Down Under of epic proportions.
BLVD OF EYES represent both sides of the world, with vocalist Chloe Trujilo - born in Paris - and bass player Mark Dalbeth - New Zealand - seemingly brought together by fate at a Global Green Event in LA's Troubadour in 2021.
The two struck up an immediate connection that led to them forming BLVD OF EYES. Their debut EP, 'HEAVY PEACE', dropped in 2022, amplifying their presence in the music scene. Eager to keep the momentum going, they returned to the studio, enlisting Ray Luzier (Korn) on drums. The result would be their second EP, ‘BUYING LIES FOR THE TRUTH SEEKER’.
Transitioning from studio to stage, they assembled a formidable live band, featuring guitarist Kevin Hicklin (3 by Design, Weapons of Anew) and Chloe's daughter, Lullah Trujillo, on drums. The band wasted no time, hitting stages in early 2024, captivating audiences, steadily building momentum. With now 20 live shows under their belts, they are now writing together as a group and about to enter the studio to track new music.
Also announcing today, BLVD OF EYES have signed to Australia's powerhouse Independent Rock Label XMusic and will soon release new music from their new EP coming on November 21 along with a national tour also to be announce for November 2025
**********
THE MIDNIGHT DEVILS, rocking out of Nebraska, are the ultimate party band. Since releasing their debut album Something Bigger in 2018 the trio have traversed the globe, playing to appreciate crowds throughout the US, Europe, Australia and Japan, supporting bands such as Enuff Z Nuff, Pretty Boy Floyd and Kickin' Valentina to name a few.
Known for their high energy and infectious live shows, The Midnight Devils released their third album So Hard It Hurts while on a national run last year with Bon But Not Forgotten in Australia, and the subsequent Get Laid In The USA Tour has kept them on the road for most of 2025.
Having recently dropped the second album single, Shock The World, The Midnight Devils are set to deliver on their promise to Australian fans of being back within 12 months as they join BLVD OF EYES for an Australian assault.
Brought to you by HEAVY, XMusic and REP Management, today sees two HEAVYFEST shows announced with a difference. The first show promises to be unlike anything seen or heard before in Sydney on November 23 , as the two bands join Awaken The Hate, Frankies World Famous House Band, Audio Reign, Wayward Kings and Kodem for HEAVYFEST On The Harbour from 12pm to 5pm, cruising the waterways of Sydney Harbour on a vessel filled with sonic disparity.
Sunday, November 29 sees both bands again joined by Awaken The Hate, but this time for a music festival on land as HEAVYFEST hits Soapbox Beer in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley for 12 hours of live entertainment starting at midday and featuring Dreamkillers, These Four Walls, PistonFist, Snake Bite Whisky, Engraved, Kaosphere, Goatzilla, Sound Affliction and Blackstar.
