In a year like no other, the team at Greenstone Entertainment are bringing life back into the live entertainment industry in the summer of 2021. After a record sell-out tour in 2020 attracting over 50,000 fans, we’re announcing a lineup of five fantastic acts for next year’s Summer Concert Tour, with a trans-Tasman vibe to the shows.
There’s been huge interest in next year’s tour, with people wanting to know when the lineup would be announced,An initial line-up had been confirmed as far back as March but then the world changed for everyone. It's been a waiting game to see big events back on the calendar and we’re excited to be amongst the first in the world to deliver back to our fans the vibrancy that live events can bring.
Next year will see five incredible acts taking to the stage at the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert, Taupo Summer Concert and Whitianga Summer Concert in January, and will feature Gin Wigmore, The Angels, Dragon, Pseudo Echo, and Mi-Sex
Appreciating how lucky we are in the world to be able to plan to get together again, the artists for next year’s three show tour have graciously agreed to do what it takes for fans to get out there and again enjoy the musical talents and experience that comes from a live outdoor festival.
Greenstone Entertainment is pleased to have been given approval for our international acts to enter New Zealand by Immigration New Zealand. This gives peace of mind to concert fans that the artists will be able to come to New Zealand to perform.
With 11 years of history, Greenstone Entertainment CEO, Amanda Calvert says of today’s announcement: “After what’s been a turbulent year, Greenstone Entertainment and our artists are excited about the opportunity to deliver what will be the best outdoor live music festival event in the summer of 2021. Nothing beats a world-class live music experience for everyone’s health and wellbeing. “Staying true to everything we know and love about the Summer Concert Tour, we’ll be bringing some of the best of classic rock to our stunning New Zealand summer holiday locations of Queenstown, Taupo and Whitianga in January 2021. It’s also our way of supporting our home towns and local communities. We’re very appreciative of everything they give to the event, and are proud that the Summer Concert Tour generates millions of dollars of economic benefit to the regions each year.” Amanda continues “We know it’s been tough for many out there this year, so we’ll continue to offer great value for money for a full day of live music entertainment with local’s tickets only $115 and other tickets starting from $125 through our website. This works out to be around only $25 per act. This is a great way to get family and friends together again and we can’t wait to see thousands of happy, smiling faces enjoying themselves at one of the shows.”

Their relationship with the audience is everything to them, and their standard of live music is sure to have every show rocking when they perform the likes of Take A Long Line, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place and No Secrets.
