People of the Sun deliver a new sound for Aotearoa with a majestically immersive debut track ‘Lisurgen’, an epic eight-minute listen where strong lyricism combines with rich, tasteful instrumentation and a powerful groove.

A dynamic new creative force on the scene, PEOPLE OF THE SUN are an impressive pysch-rock outfit from Taranaki, comprised of seasoned musicians Joseph Anderson (Guitar, Lead Vocals), Djordie Nikolic (Bass, Vocals), and Tom Scrase (Drums, Taonga Puoro, Vocals).

‘Lisurgen’ is a masterfully written and executed sonic composition accompanied by a symbolic representation of stunning visuals, inviting the listener to create their own interpretation of the song. A self-produced single, ‘Lisurgen’ was recorded by Neil Baldock and Tom Broome, with mixing duties by the legendary Lee Prebble at The Surgery in Wellington.
