The big dance in the bright lights of Auckland just got brighter, with the return of the annual Golden Lights Music Festival, held on the expansive outer fields of Waitakere’s Trusts Arena, on Friday 10th January 2025.
After her triumphant performance earlier this year at Golden Lights, Becky Hill returns to the outdoor fields of Trusts Arena. No stranger to the big stage, Becky Hill doesn’t do rules. A hit machine since her teens, the pop powerhouse has forged her own particular path to fame. As successful as a songwriter as she is as an artist, as fierce behind the scenes as she is on stage and as credible as she is commercial, Becky Hill has become one of Britain’s most successful musicians entirely on her own terms. Expect to hear her full back catalogue of hits, including ‘Disconnect’, ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’, ‘Remember (with David Guetta)’ and more.
Tasmanian born, Perth Raised, Gold-Coast based Christian Benson aka Luude has quickly risen to the forefront of a new wave of producers coming out of Australia. An artist who is consistently evolving and finding success across multiple endeavors. His 2021 version of Australian classic ‘Down Under’ quickly rose to the top of the charts across the globe. All further testament to his abilities as a production powerhouse and tastemaker of the next sound, who finds success in everything he is doing.
Amsterdam-born, London-based Jyoty’s rise to becoming one of the underground's most loved figures is a story of sheer dedication. Considered by many as being at the forefront of her own movement, Jyoty has become a trailblazer in dance music globally. From her beginnings in radio; now eight years on London’s Rinse FM, to headlining festivals and hosting sold out stages around the world. Jyoty’s inimitable skill as a DJ, musical selector, curator and interviewer has won her a following world over.
Sachi, comprised of Will Thomas and Nick Chrisp, have risen from teenage friends with a passion for dance music to one of New Zealand’s most celebrated live acts. Known for their dynamic festival performances, they made history as the first New Zealand act to play Belgium’s Tomorrowland in 2022. Their breakthrough came when they handed Diplo a USB of their music, leading to his support on BBC Radio 1. This exposure propelled Sachi to fame with platinum singles ‘No More’ and ‘Shelter’, and a remix of Lorde’s ‘Green Light’.
Girls Don’t Sync are an all-female group of DJs, producers and curators who are bringing much needed inclusivity and energy to underrepresented dancefloors worldwide. Matty Chiabi, Sophia Violet, Hannah Lynch and G33 came together to form Girls Don’t Sync in summer 2021, and exploded onto the scene soon after with one of the most-watched Mixmag Lab’s of the year. Their fresh take on UKG, house and bass has made them a must-see act at the likes of Glastonbury, Boomtown, Parklife, Lost & Found and many more this year, winning fans around the world for their boundless energy and the unforgettable atmosphere they create with each performance.
