Rapper-performer-storyteller, King continues a steep climb on the Indian pop music scene with his unstoppable barrage of delivering mammoth hits in recent years. In a short span of less than three years, the New Delhi pop star who also made his Cannes red carpet debut in 2024 and was listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list 2024, has made a strong mark for himself in the industry and is now on his way to break records and establish his name globally. His modern romantic ballad "Maan Meri Jaan" and the massively popular refix with Nick Jonas titled "Afterlife" broke all records of daily streams on Spotify ever for an Indian track and has been a perfect successor to the previous crowd favourite "Tu Aake Dekhle."
One of the few album artists in the country, he released his debut album The Carnival in 2020, featuring the modern classic, "Tu Aake Dekhle,"' which has received 900 million+ streams across all platforms. Following the hugely popular underground album The Gorilla Bounce, King broke records by becoming #1 on YouTube Music global top 50 along with the Spotify global top 50 with his third album Champagne Talk, which also featured "Maan Meri Jaan" that has garnered over 1 billion streams across all platforms and been crowned as #1 song by Spotify India in 2023.
King's one of a kind project NEW LIFE that released in October 2023 has witnessed him explore wider themes of emotions and music. His unique collaborations with international artists, including Nick Jonas, Julia Michaels, Gucci Mane, Jason Derulo, Ricky Rich, and Rayvanny have been massively propelled by the unwavering support of his dedicated fanbase KINGsclan, his talent even caught the attention of EA FC, which has featured his music in the 2024 edition of the long running video game franchise.
Entering 2024 by going back to his hip hop roots, King is prepping his upcoming project monopoly m0ves, which is set to adorn some of the biggest collaborations in Indian hip hop including Raga, Karma, Mcstan, Raftaar, Talwiinder, Abhijay and many more.
