Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie was in fine form last night in Auckland. This coming off a busy Australian Tour in support of their 6th studio album Pray for the Wicked, it was the only time New Zealand audiences would get a glimpse of the popular rock group for their special one-off concert.
The legends behind rock anthems 'This Is Gospel', 'L.A. Devotee', 'Hallelujah' and 'The Ballad Of Mona Lisa' brought their invigorating performance to Auckland's Spark Arena, and never looked like letting up– of course, it just wouldn’t be a PATD concert without their surreal version of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, with multi-octave singer Urie really taking the Rock classic to new heights.
They last visited our shores in February 2017 in support of the blockbusting last album, Death of a Bachelor, which sold almost 200,000 copies in its first week.
Also Good to see Auckland-based indie quartet Openside will also share the stage as the support act for Panic! At The Disco. They've built a cult-following with their own all ages headline shows and opening slots for everyone from Twenty One Pilots and Fall Out Boy to Ellie Goulding.
