Reviewer – application to review an event.

Thanks in advance for your applications, here’s all the low-down on how to apply to REVIEW a gig or event at Libel Music.

Use this form to apply for show reviews. Photographers use the Photography Assignment application form.

ONE FORM TO BE USED PER SHOW.

TIME-FRAME FOR APPLICATION: Please apply with as much prior notice as possible 4-6 weeks (min) if you can this ensures we can run PR & help you get your coverage.

MULTIPLE OUTLET WARNING: Please don’t apply for the same show with Libel Music & other outlets; if you don’t understand what the wider ramifications of this are for us are or others in our team; or do this often, Libel Music will be forced to consider your future applications. Please talk to Megs if you don’t understand this.

PERSONAL BOUNDARIES: We have a lot to do to get you to your show (& in general running the publication), we also have lives. Please respect our private time, there are processes in place to handle everything. Don’t send PM’s, texts like  “Is a show filled before you fill out the form/ do we want the show covered etc…” (it takes the same time to fill out the form - Hint - save a quick link to the submit form or link to the Libel hubspot to have all resources at your fingertips) don’t be offended if no one answers PM’s like this (apologies & many thanks in advance!).

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? Your application is received, you’ll receive an email to notify that you are assigned/or not usually within a couple of days. When assigned, status will be TBC (To be Confirmed). We often don’t know until a day or two sometimes the day of event. Please ensure you remain available & mark your calendar as assigned with Libel Music – we are counting on you! We’ll be following up everything in the background, if you have any questions re the assignment, please direct these to Megs via email only.

PROMOTER CONTACT: Contacting promoters/Artists/Management etc… under the name of Libel Music NZ/AUS is Strictly prohibited. All Coms are handled by Megs Moss, should you need to know anything re a show / your accreditation please contact megs.moss@libel.co.nz

PRIOR SHOW: You will be contacted as soon as we hear with your ticketing info/deadline etc…

SUBMISSION OF REVIEW (POST SHOW): Use the ‘SUBMIT REVIEW’ link to submit your review by the deadline time. If for any reason you will be late, contact Megs ASAP.

o   Please fill out all field to ensure form submits properly

o   Why use form submission of reviews? Time-stamping to guard against plagiarism accusation, backup for multiple access by multiple publishers (please help our very small team manage our time), archival.
