• This Form is to apply for a PHOTOGRAPHY assignment (Writers use Application to Review or Interview)

• Please fill in all form fields. Form submits to Libel Music HQ is time-stamped sends an alert to action to Megs Moss & stores private organised records which are securely stored with admin access only. (Do not send Private Messages, Texts, emails etc….)

• One form submission per show.

• TIME-FRAME FOR APPLICATION: Please apply with as much prior notice as possible 4-6 weeks if you can (this ensures we can run PR & help you get your coverage).

• MULTIPLE OUTLET WARNING: Please don’t apply for the same show with Libel Music & other outlets; if you don’t understand what the wider ramifications of this are for us are or others in our team; or do this often, Libel Music will be forced to consider your future applications.

• PERSONAL BOUNDARIES: We have a lot of work to do to get you to your show (& in general running the publication), we also have lives. Please respect our private time, there are processes in place to handle everything. Don’t send PM’s, texts like  “Is a show filled before you fill out the form/ do we want the show covered etc…” (it takes the same time to fill out the form - Hint - save a quick link to the form or link to the Libel hubspot to have all resources at your fingertips) don’t be offended if Megs doesn’t answer PM’s like this (apologies & many thanks in advance!).

• WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? Your application is received, you’ll receive an email to notify that you are assigned/or not usually within a couple of days. When  assigned, status will be TBC (To be Confirmed) Nb; we often don’t know until a day or two sometimes the day of event. Please ensure you remain available & mark your calendar as assigned with Libel Music – we are counting on you! Megs will be following up everything in the background, if you have any questions re the assignment, please direct these to Megs via email only.

• PROMOTER CONTACT: Contacting promoters/Artists/Management etc… under the name of Libel Music NZ/AUS is Strictly prohibited. All Coms are handled by Megs Moss, should you need to know anything re a show / your accreditation please contact megs.moss@libel.co.nz

1. EXCEPTIONS

• RELEASES- A promoter may send you a direct confirmation with a photography release for a show you’ve been assigned to. Sign the release & email back ASAP,  always cc in megs – please don’t bug promoters further with questions in this first instance about copyrights or such things; please direct your Q’s to Megs often she will be able to help & guide you (we can always take things further if needed), promoters are still getting info up until last minute & get frustrated with constant emails,  be a pro – work the channels in-house through your outlet properly!

• PERSONAL PROJECTS We love local music whether NZ or AUS. Sometimes you may be covering a local artist & want to publish a gig you’ve covered for a local band, (please ensure permission is granted to publish by said artist/band). HOW? - Submit a form as usual, 1 weeks’ notice min (usual 4 appreciated) include full links if possible to any calendar / band info, the submission MUST include contact details of person handling your accreditation in the notes section of your form-submission. To re-iterate, approaching under the name of Libel Music in the first instance to obtain the credentials is prohibited.
