Toyah Cordingley was a beautiful, highly popular 24-year-old, Toyah was an animal and music loving young lady. Sadly; her body was discovered in the dunes at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, on 22nd October 2018, a day after she was reported missing.

Toyah was taken from us way too early. A young lady just walking her dog on a beach was murdered, in a crime that has shaken a country.

Toyah’ favourite song was ‘’Your Guardian Angel’’ by THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS.

The band, who started their Australian Tour on the 29th November in Brisbane will be beginning their NZ leg tomorrow night in Auckland at Galatos.

John Howarth (tour publicist) was contacted and informed that the song was often referred to as Toyah’s Song. It was her ‘go to song’, her ring tone for a long time and a song that her friends and family relate heavily to, more now than ever.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus lead singer, Ronnie Winter was contacted to see if the band can dedicate the song to Toyah on all of their Australian Shows and they have, John Howarth and Libel Music would like to help extend this campaign in New Zealand shores also, please spread this song and article to show your support and potentially help find the person or persons responsible…...somebody with information may just see it and be able to pass on valuable insight to close this case, protect others and lay Toyah to rest.

Ronnie has also come up with a new lyric video and the band have pinned the story under the video.

Despite a huge amount of information collected by police, the killer is still at large. We need all the help we can get to find this killer. There may be others at risk.
