Kyle Lionhart announces debut New Zealand show March 2019

Australian neo-folk singer-songwriter Kyle Lionhart has announced his first ever show in New Zealand this March.

Kyle was a standout busker on the streets of the surf town--Byron Bay--and quickly built his reputation from playing on the pathways to playing alongside some of the best at Bluesfest and Splendour in the Grass.

EP Keep In Mind was independently released mid-2015 and has since amassed Kyle a legion of loyal fans. The EP sold over 6000 copies and breakout single Sleep By Rivers has over 3 million plays on Spotify alone.

Two years later, Kyle released a 7-track album Eleven & Two, produced by John Castle, and best described as indie-soul meets folk-ballads.

Of the record, Kyle says “It’s about avoiding that darker side of yourself, the side of ourselves that we consistently distract and sedate only for it to explode at the worst possible moments”

Ahead of the release of his debut album in late 2019, Kyle is holding his first NZ show in Auckland following a strong demand by local fans.
