Julia Deans is bringing her We Light Fire album release tour to Auckland's Tuning Fork this Saturday night.

Following her opening for Marlon Williams’ sold out nationwide tour, this is the former Fur Patrol icon’s first headline tour, with full band, in over seven years. The tour has already seen Deans play six shows throughout New Zealand, with two rescheduled shows still to come - Sunday September 2nd in Hamilton and finally Friday October 19th in Leigh.

Having put out the call to find local female musicians for each of her shows around the country, supporting Julia in Auckland will be Lexxa, while Mrs Dlite will join her in Hamilton and finally Erin Cole-Baker in leigh.

Commenting on the the opening acts Julia said “It was not an easy choice whittling down the list to just one artist in each town. There are so many wonderful women musicians out there. I can’t wait to share the stage with them next month”.
