First names for Splore 2019 revealed
/The stage is set for another stunning Splore festival with two of Splore’s most popular festival acts returning to the beachside festival!
The high energy Dub Pistols and the totally unique Correspondents will provide a major party vibe when they appear at Tapapakanga Park between 21- 24 February.
John Minty, Splore Festival and Music Director says “Both of these acts regularly appear in European festivals because they are two of the best live acts on the circuit. They are total crowd pleasers and they love returning to our New Zealand summer, citing Splore as one of the best festival sites in the world”.
The Correspondents will perform two shows, one on the Main Stage and the other in the Living Lounge cabaret zone. The Dub Pistols will also bring their high energy show to Splore’s Main Stage, with frontman Barry Ashworth adding one of his legendary DJ sets.
Also returning is Copenhagen’s premier club and festival DJ - Courtesy, who will play one of her blistering two hour DJ sets late into the night.
Also joining this teaser line up is Australia’s acclaimed Haiku Hands. Making their NZ festival debut this genre-bending unconventional pop, dance, electronic group are outrageous, bold and ruled by fun choreography.
Splore organisation is well underway, with more music, performance and art to be announced over the coming months. Tickets can be laybyed now to lock in the best weekend in Auckland’s summer calendar.

- General admission 8am Friday to 5pm Sunday - adult tier 1, festival ticket: $265 (includes general camping)
- Limited tickets available for a Thursday afternoon entry (on sale later in the year)
- Youth ticket 13-17: $175
- Children 12 and under are Free
