Colin, Brad & Greg from 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' heading to NZ

Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood and Greg Proops the popular stars of the Emmy nominated Whose Line Is It Anyway? have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy for one show only at the Bruce Mason Centre in Auckland.

After several years of prime-time exposure with the television series, Colin, Brad and Greg have solidified their fan base by touring with their hilarious live improv show – nothing matches their brand of unique, spontaneous and hilarious comedy.

The entire show is driven by audience participation. Using their quick wit, they will take contributions from the audience to create hilarious and original scenes…. just like a live version of Whose Line? Throughout the evening, the show becomes truly interactive as audience members are called to the stage to add an extra element of the unexpected.

Colin Mochrie's first appearance on Whose Line is it Anyway? was the British version in 1991. His role on the American Whose Line? got off to a rocky start when ABC wanted to drop Mochrie because they thought the comedian looked too old and not hip enough. Thankfully those involved in the show held their ground and were smart enough to see that talent and creativity were more important than 'hip' and the fans agreed, making Mochrie a popular mainstay on the American Whose Line? stage.

Brad Sherwood is also a regular cast member on the US Whose Line Is It Anyway? and was a regular on the British version as well.  His other television credits include The Drew Carey Show, The Green Screen Show, over 100 appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, numerous appearances on VH-1’s I Love The 80’s’ & 90’s, and guest hosting Talk Soup.

Brad's other credits include a season on LA Law, To Tell the Truth, The Newz, and hosting The New Dating Game. Brad occasionally performs with Drew Carey and Ryan Stiles as a member of the Improv All-Stars.

Greg Proops is widely known for his work as an improvisational comedian in both the UK and US versions of Whose Like Is It Anyway? having appearing in over 60 episodes.   He also performed on Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show and voiced the title character on the animated children’s show Bob The Builder for over four years.  Greg’s latest book, The Smartest Man In The World is based on his award-seeking podcast of the same name.   The podcast is recorded live in Australia, New Zealand, Montreal, Edinburgh, London, and somehow, Cleveland. Rolling Stone Magazine said “Here he is, though, in front of a live audience each week, bravely recording some of the boldest comedy on the podcasting frontier right now”, while The New York Times said, “Greg’s bold, never-boring voice takes centre stage in this live recording of his renowned podcast”.
