The Jungle Giants announce NZ shows

"Used To Be In Love'' from The Jungle Giants.

One of the hottest acts in Australia right now, The Jungle Giants, have announced their return to Kiwi shores as part of their ‘Used To Be In Love’ tour, which takes its name from their latest single.

Alongside Kendrick Lamar, Gang Of Youths and Lorde, The Jungle Giants dominated this year’s triple j Hottest 100 with four songs from their 2017 album, QUIET FEROCITY, making the Hottest 100. ‘Used To Be In Love’ at #59, ‘Bad Dream’ #57, ‘On Your Way Down’ #50 and a Top 20 inclusion with ‘Feel The Way I Do’, nabbing #16.

The ‘sleeper hit’ on the record, ‘Used To Be In Love’ is fast approaching seven million streams on Spotify.

The Jungle Giants drew rave reviews when they played their first-ever sold-out show in Auckland last year. They’ve also become firm favourites on Radio Hauraki.

The band defied expectations with career-high third album QUIET FEROCITY. Recorded and produced entirely themselves, the record topped numerous 2017 “Best Of” lists and landed #7 on triple j listener’s Top 10 Albums of 2017. Their collective catalogue - consisting of three albums and two EP’s - has racked up more than 70 million streams worldwide.

The four-piece from Brisbane is renowned for their energetic live set, filled with charging dance hooks and contagious scream-your-lungs-out choruses.

As well as last year’s aforementioned Kiwi show, they’ve traversed the globe in recent months, playing in LA, New York, Toronto, Austin, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. They’ve also played countless festivals including Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass and the Falls Festival.
