Irish singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow to support London Grammar

London Grammar fans are in for a double treat with the announcement today that the band will be supported by brilliant Irish musician James Vincent McMorrow at Spark Arena on Saturday 30 September.

Dublin-born singer/songwriter, James Vincent McMorrow stunned audiences last year when he performed at the 2016 Splendour In The Grass festival. He returned to the Australia earlier this year to perform five sold-out headline shows across the country where he showcased material from his heralded album, We Move. The likes of The Music declared of his Sydney Opera House performance “McMorrow’s voice is literally breath-taking… The Irish artist’s performance of Surreal, under one spotlight, literally shuts the entire room up and receives a standing ovation… Not only are we happy, we are left wondering if there will be a more moving live show in 2017 than this?”

Now it's New Zealand's turn. The folk star, turned r’n’b maestro, armed with material from his most recent release True Care will bring his majestic voice as well as hit songs like ‘Higher Love,’ ‘We Don’t Eat,’ ‘Get Low,’ and ‘Rising Water’ here for the first time, the perfect complement to London Grammar's long awaited debut New Zealand appearance.
