Andy Grammer announces NZ show

Multi-platinum selling American pop artist Andy Grammer will play his very first headline New Zealand show this October at Auckland’s Powerstation.

Since his humble beginnings performing as a busker on the Santa Monica Promenade, Grammer has taken the music world by storm with a succession of pop hits ‘Keep Your Head Up’, ‘Back Home’, ‘Honey I’m Good’, ‘Fresh Eyes’ and brand new single ‘Give Love’!

Now, just announced, emerging New Zealand songwriter Ciaran McMeeken will open the proceedings at the October show!

Born in Arrowtown and growing up in Dunedin, Ciaran’s love of music started at a very young age when he first picked up the drumsticks at age 11.

Fast forward to 2017 and Ciaran now has an impressive body of work under his belt including 2014’s ‘The Valley’ EP, 2015’s ‘Screaming Man’ EP and now his forthcoming self-titled debut album due for release on 4 August.

Ciaran has also had a string of successful radio singles with ‘City’, ‘Which Way Shall We Go’ and latest track ‘That Feeling’ which was co-written by American songwriter MoZella (Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Ellie Goulding).
