Hayden Tee to perform at 'A Night Of Broadway Dreams'

New Zealand's own Hayden Tee returns to Auckland for his one and only local performance this year in support of Broadway Dreams New Zealand (BDNZ) at A Night of Broadway Dreams, an exclusive fundraiser at Rannoch House on July 2nd.

Tee is the critically-acclaimed Broadway and West End star of the Tony Award-winning worldwide phenomenon Les Miserables (Javert). He returns to the role on the West End from July 17th.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Hayden has agreed to perform for us and to serve as our Patron," says BDNZ Executive Director Patrick Kelly.  "His support and advocacy will help us remove the financial barrier to world class training for aspiring Kiwi artists.”

BDNZ is a charitable trust that facilitates programs in New Zealand by the American not-for-profit Broadway Dreams, founded in 2006 by New Zealand-born casting director Annette Tanner. Through these programs, anticipated to commence in January 2018, New Zealand's rising talents will have access to training and mentorship from Broadway's most celebrated artists.

"Broadway Dreams New Zealand is providing the support that we all look for as artists. The team's commitment to the local creative community is very exciting, and I am honored to be a part of this extraordinary effort," Tee said.

A Night of Broadway Dreams will raise crucial scholarship funds, ensuring access is made available to all students regardless of financial ability.  With Tee, it will also serve as a unique opportunity to learn more about what is required to make it to the top of the industry from a world renowned performer.
