Opening acts for remaining Boney M tour dates

Boney M are currently on tour in New Zealand playing their greatest hits. Led by original member Maizie Williams, the disco legends are playing a one-hour set, jam-packed with all of their biggest songs from ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Ma Baker’ to ‘Sunny’ and ‘Rivers of Babylon’.

Boney M will be joined by singing sensation Bella Kalolo for the shows in Rotorua (June 14), Wellington (June 15) and Auckland (June 16).
 
Hailing from Christchurch, the Samoan, Tongan and Maori (Ngati Porou) soul sister has been handpicked to work with and support artists as diverse as Mos Def, Ciara, Renee Geyer, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Dave Dobbyn, and more recently soul legend Chaka Khan. 
 
With two acclaimed releases under her belt - Without The Paper (2011) and Time And Space (2013) - Kalolo was awarded Best Pacific Female artist at the Vodafone Pacific Music Awards in 2012 and 2014 for these albums.

Boney M finish their nationwide New Zealand tour with a show at The Kamo Hotel in Whangarei on Saturday June 17.
 
Impromptu will join them as the opening act for this final show. Impromptu have played together for more than a year, collated with over 50 years experience combined within the Auckland/NZ covers band scene. Their fusion of R&B, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Neo-Soul and pop will have punters wanting to sway, groove and move.
