SZA's first New Zealand show at The Powerstation sold out in just three minutes time.
New Zealand has the pleasure of hosting SZA for the first time as she tours her epic breakout album CTRL. Working with the likes of Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper and Isaiah Rashad, SZA will be set to showcase her raw and thrilling prowess.

1. Rihanna and Beyonce enlisted SZA to co-write “Consideration” and “Feelin’ Myself,” respectively.
2. The CTRL album includes spoken-word interludes on the subject from her mother and grandmother.
3. In her track ‘Normal Girl,’ SZA samples Drake’s ‘Controller.’
4. Wu-Tang inspired her name change. SZA was influenced by Wu member RZA to change her name to the current version.
5. The name SZA comes from the Supreme Alphabet. S stands for savior, though she expressed that it could also mean sovereign. Z stands for zig-zag and A for Allah.
6. SZA met TDE (her record label) boss Punch at Kendrick Lamar's CMJ show in 2011.
7. SZA was born Solana Rowe in Missouri, and grew up in New Jersey. She attended a Muslim prep school and didn’t watch current television or listen to much current music.
8. SZA’s parents were very successful in their own right. Her father was an executive producer for CNN and her mother was an executive at AT&T.
9. While her parents were from different religious sects, SZA was raised Orthodox Muslim and wore a Hijab.
10. SZA attended college and majored in marine biology with the dream of being a Seaworld trainer.
