Alison Moyet kicks off her New Zealand tour tonight - playing at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington before heading to Auckland's ASB Theatre on Saturday and finishing up at the Isaac Theatre in Christchurch on Monday.

This will be her first visit to this region in over 30 years. The BRIT Award Winner and Grammy Nominee will be showcasing her catalogue of big hits from the 80s and new material from her soon to be released album, ‘Other’.

Talking about her first visit to Australasia in more than 30 years Moyet explained "It’s highly likely that I won’t get back again at my age so it’s a really significant tour for me, this one in Australasia. Expect electronica, don’t expect That Ole Devil Called Love, don’t expect Invisible, do expect some Yazoo and some Alf but expect there to be some volume and edge. While I do old stuff, it’s reworked and it’s not merely an ’80s fest."

Joining Moyet on the tour is Hollie Smith. Renowned for her incredible live performances and powerhouse vocals, Hollie Smith is the perfect addition to these shows. “So excited, and looking forward to being back in these amazing theatres sharing the stage with this incredibly iconic artist”.
