UB40 announce NZ tour

UB40, featuring the original members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, will return to New Zealand this summer with the enormously successful Red Red Wine Vineyard Tour that sold out everywhere in 2016.
 
This summer they will be performing in two new venues: Martinborough’s Luna Estate on 2 January and at Villa Maria Estate in Blenheim on 7 January, as well as returning to Waitiri Creek at Gibbston, near Queenstown on 5 January.
 
“The Red Red Wine Vineyard tour was a huge hit last summer" says promoter Jackie Sanders, "the band is thrilled to bring their 2 hour, hit-packed show to the Martinborough and Marlborough regions for the first time, as well as return to Queenstown.”

The original line-up of UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 to 2008, with #1 albums, multiple gold and platinum selling albums, Grammy nominations, 4 worldwide #1 hits and over 70 million in sales. Now reunited again, they continue to take their smooth yet rootsy blend around the world and their live performances never fail to uplift the audience.
