Airbourne to play 3-date NZ tour

Batten down the hatches – Aussie hell-raisers Airbourne are on track to make landfall on New Zealand shores in early 2017.

The mighty bearers of the ‘stadium rock’ torch have just announced three shows, presented by The Rock FM. They will play the Kings Arms in Auckland on Thursday, January 26, the San Francisco Bath House in Wellington on Friday, January 27 and CPSA in Christchurch, on Saturday, January 28.

The raucous rockers (Joel O’Keeffe, Ryan O’Keeffe, David Roads and Justin Street) have been creating havoc in all corners of the globe since their scrappy upstarts in the early 2000s in the small Victorian town of Warrnambool. They left a trail of destruction with their first three albums Runnin' Wild, No Guts. No Glory and Black Dog Barking. And now their latest, 2016’s Breakin' Out Of Hell  is inflicting the same sort of damage, with the kick-ass track ‘Rivalry’.

Airbourne’s live show comes with the same message – this is rock ‘n’ roll of epic proportions! And as anyone who’s ever witnessed the band’s carnage in the flesh will attest to, Joel O’Keefe and his boys only go where the beers are cool, the girls are hot and the music can never be too loud and proud.

Don’t miss your chance to get amongst the madness when Airbourne touches down in New Zealand in January 2017.
