Like A Storm make chart history again
/New Zealand rockers Like A Storm have made kiwi rock history again this week, taking claim to the highest charting New Zealand made rock song in American radio history. Sitting at #11 in the US rock charts,‘Become The Enemy' and their two previous singles have now become the three highest charting songs by a kiwi rock act in the USA ever.
Presently on their first ever headline nationwide US tour the Brooks brothers speak to their most recent success, "to be in the US Rock Top 15 alongside legends like Chris Cornell and Disturbed is a dream come true. It's very a surreal moment for three guys from Auckland!"
Known as one of the hardest working bands out there, Like A Storm have fought hard to be heard. The New Zealand brothers moved to the United States knowing no one, and built a diehard and devoted fan-base on the back of tirelessly touring.
Like A Storm's second album, Awaken The Fire, was also an ambitious undertaking both creatively and logistically, the album was written and produced by Chris, Matt and Kent while the band was on tour.
Alongside the latest single's success Like A Storm have been nominated for "Breakout Artist" at the US Rock Radio Awards. And looking ahead to 2016 the band will kick off in the New Year with the Shiprocked Cruise in Florida, then head to Europe for a tour with Las Vegas post-hardcore band Escape The Fate.
