The Teskey Brothers release new single 'Right For Me' and limited edition 7 inch

In exciting news, The Teskey Brothers kick off 2019 with the incredibly funky, hook laden new single Right For Me, a fan-favourite from the band’s renowned live set and previously unreleased until now.

“It's basically a song about being smitten for someone more than you should, considering you don’t know them very well. It's sort of a love-at-first-sight feeling. Or the feeling you’ve had a spell cast on you, or a love potion. Or the feeling you’ve been hit by one of cupid’s arrows. Or all those metaphors put together. I guess it’s a subject lots of people have felt and written about over the years . We’ve all had that feeling of being hooked on someone you don’t really know that well, but you fantasise that they're just (Right For Me).” - John Teskey, lead singer, on Right For Me.

There is something incredibly special about the four-piece, who formed over a decade ago when brothers Sam (guitar) and Josh Teskey teamed up with childhood friends, and long-time jamming buddies, Brendon Love (Bass) and Liam Gough (Drums).

It’s not just the music they make, or their preternatural ability to conjure the spirit of soul and blues masters, or even lead singer Josh Teskey’s era-defying voice. It’s the fact that they’ve been hiding in plain sight, honing their craft for a decade, playing countless shows at the local pub, weddings--paying their dues—before making serious waves with their debut album Half Mile Harvest.

Right For Me is now available digitally and on limited edition 7” vinyl! If two songs aren't enough, watch this space for more exciting news from The Teskey Brothers in 2019.
