Simple Plan To Release 'No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls 15th Anniversary Tour Edition'
/Canadian pop punk legends, Simple Plan are set to release NO PADS, NO HELMETS…JUST BALLS 15TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR EDITION on Friday 6th April.
To coincide with the release, the band will be back in New Zealand on their Anniversary tour, where they will play NO PADS, NO HELMETS…JUST BALLS in its entirety, live at Auckland’s The Powerstation on Thursday 19 April.
Recently named as one of Rolling Stone’s ‘Top 50 Greatest Pop Punk albums of all time’, the record will feature seven additional tracks including two new live tracks, along with all the classic hits ‘Perfect’, ‘I’m Just a Kid’, ‘Addicted’ and ‘I’ll Do Anything’.
In a statement, the band said “After releasing our 5th album last year and playing more than 100 shows in over 40 countries, we felt it was important take this opportunity to look back and celebrate the amazing adventure we've had as a band and as friends. It felt important to do something special, something we've never done before to mark this landmark in our lives. This is why we wanted to do this tour”.
In 2017 Simple Plan released their latest album, TAKING ONE FOR THE TEAM. The album, produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects), features ‘Boom,’ ‘Opinion Overload,’ and ‘Singing In The Rain.’
