Estère shares new single 'Nomads'
/Much-loved New Zealand artist, producer and beatmaker Estère debuts ‘Nomads’, the last single before the release of her forthcoming double album My Design, On Others’ Lives which is due out Friday 27th April.
This new track is Estère’s personal study of forced mass movement in both a story of pain, beauty and resurrection.
“Nomads is about exploring identity and where we come from,” says Estère.“Everyone is of a people that at some point migrated from another place. I think a lot of the time, group migration is extremely painful and is born of life-shattering circumstances. But it’s also amazing how human beings can transcend borders - through shared experiences. I think now more than ever, it’s important that we open our hearts and homes to people who have been forced to leave their motherlands.”
