Nick Murphy shares music video for 'I'm Ready'

Nick Murphy, formerly known as Chet Faker, has just released a new video directed and produced by Oscar Zabala and Ben Gordon.
Anchored by a haunting, stripped down version of ‘I’m Ready’ - a track from his recent Missing Link EP - recorded in a New Orlean’s carpark during a road trip across the US. The video and voice over continues the narrative of the Chet Faker to Nick Murphy evolution, and offers an insight into his DJ shows and life on the road — it also features ‘Fear Less’ and an acoustic version of ‘Your Time’.
The Missing Link EP is Murphy’s first release since announcing that he’ll record and perform under his given name and step away from his Chet Faker moniker. The collection bridges the sonic shift between who he was as an artist and what’s next for him as Nick Murphy.
Zane Lowe premiered ‘Your Time,’ featuring production from KAYTRANADA, as his World Record on his Beats 1 show in May and called the track a “beautiful, beautiful soulful piece of future pop music.”
