Mount Kimbie share new track 'Delta'

This Friday September 4th, Mount Kimbie release their first album in four years; Love What Survives. Just ahead of release, they can now reveal new track Delta, with a video directed by long-term collaborator Frank Lebon. The frenetic visual explores identity via a love story set around a bank robbery. Frank says:

“We follow Milson Pulse on 21/05/17; the day he is convinced to plan and take part in a robbery lead by his girlfriend. It is also the day Milson goes missing. On a journey through his fragile mind Milson experiences chameleonic spasms during the stress he is under. I like to believe that Milson Pulse came to the conclusion a change is as good as a rest”.

To coincide with the release, the duo take their new live set on tour throughout the autumn, including their biggest London headline show to date at Roundhouse in November.

Love What Survives is the product of three years of intense creative development, continually honed by the duo writing and rewriting their ideas to form something wholly idiosyncratic and personal. It brings together the voices of their close friends and collaborators - who together represent a corner of the UK’s young artistic talent - James Blake, Micachu and King Krule, within the immersive, unique atmosphere of a Mount Kimbie album. Mount Kimbie have also released three videos for various album tracks artistically directed by the Lebon family. This includes Marilyn, We Go Home Together and Blue Train Lines.
