Ciaran McMeeken releases debut album

The result of over 30 months of collaborative writing both in New Zealand and Europe, Ciaran McMeeken’s self-titled debut album has arrived!

A collection of 12 tracks, Ciaran is incredibly proud of the genre-spanning effort and is delighted to finally share the finished product with his fans.

Once again working with his long-time collaborator and acclaimed producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Jason Kerrison, Pluto), the album was recorded at Auckland's Roundhead Studios with a full live band.  Complex and diverse, every track is brimming with life, with horns, strings, and a baby grand piano all helping to create a full-bodied feast for his first full-length release.

Ciaran kicks off his album showcase tour tonight in Dunedin before he heads to Queenstown, Wellington, and Auckland to celebrate and bring the album to life with the same band he recorded it with.
