Diaz Grimm releases new album '2077'

After working solidly for almost a year on new music, Diaz Grimm is proud to share his second album with the world, titled 2077.

A continuation from his apocalyptic debut Osiris, the new album is set in the year 2077 where the last survivors have left Earth, creating a new society governed by common sense rules. In equal parts a concept album and a very real commentary on how dark our world has become, this record is driven by positivity and love, and people finding strength in each other.

Following up his debut release Osiris was no mean feat for Grimm, having earned himself a nomination for Best Urban/Hip-Hop Album at the 2015 VNZMAs, and discovering he was the first self managed unsigned Kiwi artist to perform at SXSW in March 2016 rounded off an exceptionally busy and successful year.

The travels and experiences that came along the way hugely inspired him to forge the culture of 2077, resulting in an incredibly strong collection of tracks filled to the brim with imagery.

Available now, 2077 is the sophomore album from Diaz Grimm, and is the second part in a series from the artist.
