In a world where nonchalance reigns supreme, the ability to be vulnerable without pretence is increasingly elusive. Enter stage left - The Jungle Giants’ new single ‘Tell Me How It Feels’.

With big feelings and even bigger beats, ‘Tell Me How it Feels’ unveils a bold new evolution of The Jungle Giants’ signature indie dance sound. Written and produced by the band’s lead singer Sam Hales, the track thrums with self-awareness and a yearning chorus that’s destined for festival anthem status.

Says Hales of the track - “‘Tell Me How It Feels’ brought me back to my first days with music, and naturally my single mother, who did everything she could to support me. She’s a badass, and a punk when it comes to love, so it felt really special to bring her into this album, in the same way that she brought me into music.

Raw and cathartic, the music video for ‘Tell Me How It Feels’ is creative directed by Hales and Zachary Hamilton-Reeves, and was brought to life by a tight-knit all-female crew - Summer King (Sycco, ratbag), Meg Siejka (Kat Edwards), Casey Garnsey (Mallrat, 2charm), London-via-Melbourne editor Geri Docherty (Pink Patheress, The Last Dinner Party, Peri Edwards, Lola Young), makeup artist Ivy Reynolds, and Sasha McLeod aka Sycco.

Littered with Easter eggs of things to come, the video signals a new chapter shaped by unwavering hope despite adversity.

On the video, Hales says “‘Tell Me How It Feels’ music video is a nod to calling off my wedding while making this record. These last few years and this record have been all about healing, vulnerability and being happy again, and it feels god damn good to be here today sharing this, spreading joy and love on a global scale… We can’t wait for more to come!

Following the release of their 2021 ARIA #1 album LOVE SIGNS, The Jungle Giants have cemented their position at the forefront of Australia’s indie dance scene, amassing nearly a billion streams in the process. With a reputation for electric high-energy performances, the band is made up of Sam Hales (vocalist/guitarist/songwriter/producer), lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris and drummer Keelan Bijker.
