Eora/Sydney heavy outfit Heists have today unveiled their EP 'Beneath The Surface' - produced by Ionei Heckenberg (Ocean Sleeper).

The record melds intensity and vulnerability, pushing the boundaries of modern metalcore while still carrying a sense of weight and grit. Across its tracks, the EP explores betrayal, sacrifice, survival and grief; offering a raw look at the different battles that lie beneath the surface of everyday life.

Guitarist Guy Vears shares - "We wanted to touch on struggles that we all face. Everyone has moments where they're carrying something heavy, and this EP was our way of exploring those feelings while reminding people they’re not alone in them."

'Beneath The Surface's released singles have already generated just shy of 1 million streams. These tracks showcase the band's ability to fuse searing breakdowns and soaring melodies, with intricately layered production.

In the past year, they've shared stages with Stepson, The Gloom In The Corner, Ocean Sleeper, Point North and Northlane. The also band completed their first headline tour, which included a performance aboard a Eora/Sydney harbour cruise, and a full national run as the headline act for the iconic emo club AM//PM.

Frontman Chris Zagas reflects - "This EP pushed us to grow more than anything we've done before. From writing, to recording, to taking it on stage, we've all grown in ways we didn't expect. The last year has been huge for us as a band and as people, and Beneath The Surface is the clearest snapshot of who we are right now."

With 'Beneath The Surface' on the horizon, Heists are set to take things even further. This November, they will embark on their biggest headline tour yet, bringing along Outloved, Signals and St.Sinner for a string of shows.

'Beneath The Surface' is available worldwide now.
