Tour News - TISM announce final support acts for exclusive Melbourne performance - 2nd March 2026
Prepare for the international theatrical debut of TISM's Death To Art Live at Sidney Myer Music Bowl film this May. The band's exclusive one-off screening at PICA in Melbourne includes additional support from DRUNK MUMS, HOT MACHINE and SANDY DISH added to the stacked line up with THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS, DR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTISE and LARGE MIRAGE.
Hailing from Melbourne, Garage/Punk/RockNRoll band DRUNK MUMS originated from Cairns FNQ and one from Kyneton Country Victoria. With 3 LP’s and 3 EP’s under their belts and over 50 originals released, they've clocked over 30 million streams on Spotify and Apple music. “Drunk Mums are probably the single most influential band for the Chats, and I’m sure many other bands would say the same. Throughout their lengthy career they’ve shown us all time and time again how to write a bloody good rock n roll song” says Eamon from The Chats. They’ve toured nationally countless times and internationally throughout America, UK, Europe, Indonesia and New Zealand. Festivals include Laneway festival, Big Sound, Boogie, Nitchfest, River Rocks, Farmer and Owl, Cherry Rock, Party in the paddock, Paradise, Sounds of the suburbs and many more. Support slots include Amyl and the Sniffers, These New South Wales, Richie Ramone, Personal and the Pizzas, Red Fang, Rose Tattoo, Guitar Wolf and Sick Thoughts.
Arriving on the scene mid-2023, 5 piece fiery all-girl rockers HOT MACHINE have lit up stages with their nostalgia-heavy classic rock sound. Their high energy live show transports audiences with tough guitars, a thunderous rhythm section and powerhouse choruses you’ll want to shout out loud. They made their mark on Melbourne’s rock scene before jumping on nationwide tours with Aussie greats like Rose Tattoo, Wolfmother, The Southern River Band and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets to name a few. They were quick to secure tour support slots for International artists such as Cherie Currie (USA), Supersuckers (USA) and Nashville Pussy (USA) — along with a run of international tours in New Zealand and Japan with Guitar Wolf and NZ punk legends The D4. Since dropping their debut EP ‘Leather and Steel’, the group have been hailed as the “next big thing in Australia’s rock ’n’ roll scene”, and are set to release their debut album in 2026 before jumping on the Rock the Boat international cruise in October.
After an imposed hiatus due to interconnected factors including communist radicalisation, the country music scene, the CFMEU, apocalyptic prophecies, deep state interventions, commitment to the clit, simulation theory, melatonin dreams of a world without men, Palintir’s AI antichrist (AIAC), mogging, both paving our own paths in life and being actual pavers, the collapse of the hegemonic global order, USB C supremacy, and the inversion of the patriarchy in the WAP era, your favourite garage punk rock band who are still doing this shit SANDY DISH return. With a brand new record that took 3 years to record, and clocks in at just over 26 minutes and translates to 1.5 seconds of work per day for three years. Your dad's favourite band is here and ready to play it. Dish or death!
One of Australia's most influential and enduring bands, TISM have spent decades forging a reputation for their genre-blurring, boundary-smashing, sarcasm-wielding (and entirely anonymous) antics. Emerging in the late 80s, the often balaclava-clad group have explored dance, pop, rock and caustic wit amongst other musical delights, spanning seven studio albums, countless award nominations and two ARIA Award wins, millions of streams, and a live performance reputation that truly has to be seen to be believed.
Reforming via some secret shows and an appearance at Good Things Festival in 2022, TISM ticked off a headline run in 2024, with their Death To Art Tour boasting supports from Machine Gun Fellatio, Eskimo Joe and The Mavis's, and also in honour of their latest full-length Death to Art, which also became their highest charting album since the release of their seismic album Machiavelli and the Four Seasons.
With blissful hues, heartfelt thematics and hook-laden indie rock primed to burrow into your soul, Frankston's very own THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS have been weaving musical magic together since 2017. Turning heads early on in their journey across the Melbourne scene, supporting the likes of Ladyhawke, Spacey Jane, Slowly Slowly, Tired Lion, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, British India and more.
Melbourne synth punks DR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTICE swiftly became a cult favourite after emerging in 2019, ticking off albums, international tours and supports alongside fellow punk icons King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Tropical Fuck Storm and Ty Segall.
Like a spectacular vintage fever dream for the modern era, young Aussie rockers LARGE MIRAGE melt retro psychedelic rock with shimmering finesse, planting their boots firmly in the golden soil of 1970s hard rock but with their eyes fixed on the future.
Melbourne fans, definitely do not miss this once-in-a-lifetime performance in 2026; you'll never see TISM like this again elsewhere, ever.
