News - Welcome To The Jungle relocates to take over Auckland - 27th February 2026

Due to the severe weather conditions experienced across Kaiwaka and much of Aotearoa two weeks ago, the Welcome to the Jungle site has been significantly impacted.

Following a full site inspection, the promoter, Fuzen Entertainment, has made the difficult but responsible decision to relocate Welcome to the Jungle, scheduled for Saturday March 21st.

The recent weather means the event is unable to safely commence the build at the Kaiwaka site, and there is significant risk the grounds would not be event-ready in time. Rather than compromise on safety or experience, this is the best choice to ensure the event delivers the quality and atmosphere the Welcome to the Jungle audience expects.

Given the timeframes involved, it was not possible to secure another outdoor venue in the same region with the required resource consent and liquor licensing in place. The team has worked tirelessly to find a solution that allows the event to proceed safely and at scale.

Fuzen Entertainment are pleased to confirm that Welcome to the Jungle will now be taking place across two Auckland venues on Saturday, March 21. Welcome to the Jungle is set to deliver Auckland a heavyweight, world-class jungle experience without compromise.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE – MAIN SHOW

The Powerstation - Saturday March 21st | 7.30pm - 12am

Featuring:
Goldie

Mungos Hi Fi + Eva Lazarus
Ruinz

A stacked international line-up inside one of Auckland’s most legendary live music rooms. Expect deep bass pressure, rolling breaks and pure jungle energy.

OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY

The Mothership - Saturday March 21st | 10pm - 4am

Featuring:
Cesco
Dillinja

When the main room closes, the night shifts gear. The Mothership hosts the official afterparty, pushing things late into the early hours with uncompromising drum & bass authority.

The revised two-venue format will allow for the event to retain a heavyweight international presence while delivering a high-energy city experience.

What started as a destination festival now becomes a city-wide movement, two venues, one night, full immersion.

To everyone who secured tickets for Kaiwaka, we know many of you had travel plans locked in. This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but ensuring a safe, high-quality experience was non-negotiable. All ticket holders have been emailed with full details, including the option of a full refund.

Tickets go on sale Friday February 27th at 6pm via www.fuzen.co.nz

Auckland, Welcome to the Jungle is coming for you!!
