Alt-pop singer songwriter merci, mercy today releases ‘Inside Out’, the final single ahead of her debut album, Don’t Take It To Heart, out on Friday 29th August.
Effective pop songwriting in its simplest and purest form, ‘Inside Out’ creates a strong foundation as the album opener and entry point of Don’t Take It To Heart. Offering a unique perspective of what it can be like to live with the unpredictability of depression, the song observes one's relationship with depression and mental health with intimacy and maturity.
