Clap Clap Riot reveal music video for 'Help Me'
Fresh off a string of sold out shows, Clap Clap Riot are stoked to release the video for their latest offering Help Me.
A song about feeling pressured to keep up with modern life while wanting to be anywhere else, Help Me fuses together the sounds we know and love from the Auckland band, with a palpitating rhythm guitar, shiny keys, a taut rhythm section, and possessed vocals.
Perfectly encapsulating the mixed feelings of isolation and helplessness in the track, the video stars front man Stephen Heard as a lonely wanderer who gets himself mixed up in an awkward social situation, resulting in some rather dire consequences. Showcasing some of New Zealand’s most stunning vast landscapes, the video was shot at various locations across the North Island, directed and produced by Patricia Phelan.
Produced, engineered and mixed by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, Popstrangers), Help Me is the first single from Clap Clap Riot’s upcoming third album set for release in 2017 – stay tuned for more info coming soon...
