Meliorist share new single 'What You've Lost'

Metal maestros Meliorist from Brisbane, Australia are today dropping another tasty morsel from their forthcoming EP, 'ii.' The new track, 'What You've Lost' shows the variation and breadth/depth of the band's influences and skills - a mellower, but no less masterful track, Meliorist is set to drop an EP that will be branded into the listener's mind for a while to come!

The band dropped an announcement about the EP's release and their first single and video 'My Reflection' last month. 'ii.' will be released into the world on Friday December 1.

The band will also be launching this EP on December 1 at Brisbane's Flamin' Galah bar alongside friends Fragments and I. The Divide. Pre-Sale Tickets go on sale Friday October 27 at Oztix and every ticket purchased can redeem a free EP download when the EP is released -  purchasers just need to e-mail melioristpresale@outlook.com with their receipt of the ticket purchase to redeem.

Meliorist was formed in 2015 by Andrew Apte and James Ollis who have been playing together for years prior in former bands - and have now formed this 5-piece around their new music - consisting of Matthew Williams on Vocals, Andrew Apte on Guitar, Maxim Lullfitz on Guitar, Samuel Schodel on Bass and James Ollis on Drums.

The tracks were self-produced by Andrew Apte in his home-studio in Brisbane, Australia and mixed and mastered by Brian Hood of 456 recordings in Nashville TN, who has worked with bands such as Memphis May Fire, Sworn In, Being As An Ocean and Iconoclast. The cover artwork is by Maxime Desmettre, a French/Canadian artist living in Guangzhou/China, who has done concept art and design for many Ubisoft videogames.
