Punk It Up returning for 2018
Punk It Up fiendishly returns once again to the Kings Arms on Saturday February 17th for the "last ever punk show" before the venue has it's inevitable meeting with the wrecking ball and dies a gruesome horrendous death.
Diabolical lineups are still to be fully finalised, but we can reveal that seminal punk band Proud Scum will be devilishly getting together for the first time in a decade for the show, Aussie punks Wolfpack are eerily swimming across the Tasman Sea just to be there, awfully frightening all-star punk covers act bankRobbers (featuring X-Features/Fetus Production's Jed Town, and No Tag's Andrew Boak) will be firing up their amps and dragging onstage all sorts of wicked special guests, and Wellington newcomers Mishap will also be making the ghastly trek up Highway One for the "last ever punk show" at the Kings Arms
The usual "terrifyingly good" top-shelf collection of Auckland's finest selectors will be DJing between the bands, the front bar will have heinous merchandise stalls with all sorts of villainous items, and there will of course be the evil and infamous Punk It Up After Party going until we get cruelly kicked out in the wee small hours, or the bar hellishly runs out of beer....
The frighteningly good full lineup including DJs and other details will be announced shortly, as well as spooky information on where to get tickets for this "expected to be sold out" show, with a shocking Holiday Special price running until Christmas Day.
