Ciaran McMeeken to open for Ronan Keating's NZ shows
Local singer-songwriter Ciaran McMeeken has been confirmed to open for Irish superstar Ronan Keating on his ‘Time of My Life’ New Zealand tour next month.
Touring in support of his 10th studio album, aptly entitled Time of My Life, Ronan Keating performs at Auckland’s Vector Arena on Friday, November 4 and at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6.
The first Wellington show is sold out, however tickets are still available to the second show on Sunday night and Keating’s only Auckland show.
Drawing attention with his unique blend of emotive acoustic pop, Ciaran McMeeken’s honest songwriting pairs beautifully with his soaring vocals, making him the perfect fit to open the shows for the international Irish singer/songwriter.
With his self released debut EP ‘The Valley’ in 2014, Ciaran caught the attention of acclaimed producer Greg Haver. The pair released a seven-track EP ‘Screaming Man’ in 2015 and are currently working on Ciaran’s first full length album.
Ciaran is excited to get back on stage following his recent tour of New Zealand supporting Avalanche City. The 2016 Songhubs participant promises to tease some of his new material at the November shows, as well as playing his hit single ‘City’.
