Bebe Rexha to release debut album 'Expectations'
Chart topping singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha will release her highly anticipated debut album, EXPECTATIONS, on June 22. In addition to Bebe co-writing and co-producing every song on the album, EXPECTATIONS is also produced by Max Martin (Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift), Ali Payami (Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding), JUSSI, Jason Evigan (Demi Lovato, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson), Louis Bell (Camila Cabello, Justin Bieber, Lorde), The Stereotypes(Bruno Mars, Lil Yachty, Fifth Harmony) and Hit-Boy (Jay-Z. Kanye West, Kid Cudi).
Bebe’s current smash, ‘Meant To Be’ featuring Florida Georgia Line, has been ruling the New Zealand charts for twenty weeks now, selling platinum in the process.
The album follows two EPs last year, ALL YOUR FAULT: PT. 1 and ALL YOUR FAULT: PT. 2. PT. 1, was released in February and included tracks such as, ‘I Got You’, ‘F.F.F.’ featuring G-Eazy and ‘Bad Bitch’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign. PT. 2 was released in August and included tracks such as, ‘The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody)’ featuring Lil Wayne, ‘Meant To Be’ featuring Florida Georgia Line, and ‘That’s It’ featuring Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.
Rexha burst onto the scene in 2013 when she penned the song ‘Monster,’ which became a worldwide hit for Eminem and Rihanna. Since then, Bebe co-wrote and carried the instantly recognisable hook for ‘Hey Mama,’ by David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, which has over 1.2 billion YouTube views and was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Song. She also hit #1 both on the Billboard Pop and Rap charts with her Platinum-selling smash single, ‘Me, Myself & I’ with G-Eazy and she also featured on Louis Tomlinson’s track, ‘Back to You,’ off of his upcoming solo album.
