Arma Del Amor shares 'Diamond Mind Theory'
Arma Del Amor is a band, whose sound resides on the ambient soul side of electronica.
Formed in 2013 when Wanaka locals Martine Harding and Daniel Fairley connected over their love of electronic music, Arma Del Amor take inspiration from a broad range of artists such as Bonobo, Little Dragon, fellow kiwis Shapeshifter and UK heavyweights Massive Attack. Their sound is a blend of hypnotic vocals over an uncompromising rhythm taking the listener on a journey through sonic ridges and valleys.
Diamond Mind Theory is a journey personified, not only taking listeners on an aural adventure, but the song is about a going beyond the current walls of confinement and immersing oneself in any experience.
Martine explains “We don’t always know where or what it is we are looking for, but the uncertainty and the unknown is sometimes the best part.”
Produced, written and recorded by Arma Del Amor at their studio in Wanaka, Diamond Mind Theory was mixed and mastered by Benny Tones (Pacific Heights, Drax Project, Electric Wire Hustle) in Wellington at Organik Muzik Workz.
Diamond Mind Theory is Arma Del Amor’s first track off of the soon to be released LP “Onna Bugeisha” – more information to come.
