Following the release of her new song 'Frontline,' Kelela is back to share a behind the scenes video for the making of the 'LMK' video, originally directed by Andrew Thomas Huang. More than just a look into the production of the music video, the behind the scenes footage is directed by Archie Thomas and features commentary from Kelela on the meaning and context behind "LMK." "I think when a woman demands respect, men often think that they want to be with them," says Kelela in the video. "Let me know - just let me know, it ain't that deep."

"LMK" is the lead single from Kelela's forthcoming debut album Take Me Apart, which is due October 6th via Warp Records, and is available for pre-order now. "'LMK' isn't a flirtation - it's a negotiation, close to an ultimatum," says New York Times of the single.

"Frontline" originally debuted on HBO's hit show Insecure which has recently become a destination for bold music programming and one of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows currently on air. Pitchfork selected "Frontline" as Best New Track writing, "One of the sharpest songs she's made yet," while Rolling Stone declared the track a "Bold breakup song."

In September Kelela will perform at the iconic Hollywood Bowl alongside like-minded artists Solange, Blood Orange, Moses Sumney, KING, and Kelsey Lu. In October she will kick off a lengthy tour, playing shows across North America through November before heading to Europe for a slew of dates that will conclude in December in Amsterdam with tickets available here. Shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, New York, and London have already sold out.
