Action Bronson announces new album 'Blue Chips 7000'

Action Bronson has announced that Blue Chips 7000, the final installment in his legendary Blue Chips series will be released August 25th. The album features old friends and FTD regulars Big Body Bes, Meyhem Lauren along with Rick Ross and production from The Alchemist, Harry Fraud and Party Supplies.

In true BC fashion, he’s released a new track and video ‘The Chairman’s Intent’, featuring himself as a mysterious assassin who is not afraid to take down a corrupt Chinese Mob Boss and his crew of gangsters. Directed by Rik Cordero, the entire video was shot with 70’s Kung fu film techniques (excessive violence, bizarre sound effects, fast zooming, etc.) and is a spiritual sequel to one of his earlier video’s for ‘The Symbol’.

Outside of music, Bronson has continued his meteoric rise with the television series F*ck, That’s Delicious which debuted on Munchies, VICE’s food online food channel in May 2014. As creator and host of the series, Bronson plays the rap game’s Anthony Bourdain, marrying his passion for food and music. Bronson also took the reins and added a new twist to the massively popular, cult favourite TV show Ancient Aliens. On the show, Bronson combines two of his favourite things: watching Ancient Aliens and smoking weed along with insightful and often ridiculous commentary.  Bronson hosted the Viceland series entitled Travelling the Stars: Ancient Aliens with Action Bronson along with special guest friends such as Tyler The Creator, Melissa Etheridge, Schoolboy Q, Too Short, Earl Sweatshirt, andEric Andre to name a few.

In March 2016, Bronson announced that he would be releasing his own cookbook, titled F*ck, That’s Delicious: An Annotated Guide to Eating Well, stirring excitement throughout the hip-hop and culinary worlds.  The book, with a forward from celebrity chef, friend, and food industry mogul Mario Batali, is due out September 12th via Abrams Books. Co-written by Rachel Wharton, the book compiles 40 recipes inspired by Action's childhood, family, tours and travel.
