Written around the ever-relatable feeling of new love, Ciaran McMeeken's honest storytelling and crystal clear vocals shine in That Feeling, capturing the emotions that come with falling for someone for the very first time.

That Feeling was co-written during the first APRA Songhubs program in 2016, with global songwriting superstar MoZella who has penned tracks for the likes of Charlie Puth, Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus, and One Direction.   

The song was sparked after a mere 20 minutes and was born in the same room at Roundhead studios where it was later recorded with Ciaran’s full band and longtime producer Greg Haver.

MoZella brought a glossy-pop formula to the tune, enhancing Ciaran’s raw vocals to form a song that is all about passion. Speaking about That Feeling in his own words, Ciaran says: “This song is about that beautiful feeling of new love and the all consuming and intense experiences and emotions that come with it”. 

That Feeling is the second single from Ciaran’s forthcoming self-titled debut album – more details soon.
