Kiwi Bass duo Mt. Eden have clearly met their match in Electro-Soul frontrunner Fatherdude and the resulting synergy in their latest release “Anyone” stands testament to the true power of musical collaboration.

In a celebration of self-empowerment, “Anyone” rings out with an uplifting defiance and explodes and bounces into a crescendo of brass and bass. Speaking about their recent collaboration, Fatherdude shed some insight into the track’s creation and core message. “When we came together the music and the chemistry just felt right. The song stemmed from a conversation we all had about the constant comparisons we face online with people we know and don't know. This is a song about forgetting those comparisons and embracing yourself and your own uniqueness.”

Having achieved veteran status in any true bass lover’s heart, Mt. Eden continue to push the boundaries with each release, whilst staying true to their melodic, almost cinematic signature sound. “Anyone” is no exception to this rule, striking a fine balance between modern electronic soundscapes and classical orchestration.

From the moment they exploded onto the music scene when Sierra Leone took over YouTube, to this year’s infamous Diplo & Friends mix, Mt. Eden consistently remain ahead of the curve. Having smashed their way through festivals and clubs around the world for the past 7 years, they’ve been booked out on the live circuit and no strangers to the main stages at Coachella, EDC, Electric Forest, Ultra and Lollapalooza, to name but a few.

Both Mt. Eden and Fatherdude have stepped out of their respective comfort zones to create something unique and it’s a match made in heaven. Whether you love EDM, Hip-Hop or Soul, "Anyone" is the embodiment of two worlds colliding and bound to leave you feeling empowered, with a smile on your face.
