Lontalius announces home town 'Album Release Show'

Last week, Lontalius (Eddie Johnston) shared his debut album, I'll Forget 17 with the world and the 19 year old has been receiving some great feedback from local and international media. Featuring singles 'All I Wanna Say', 'Kick In The Head', and his most recent radio single, 'Glow', the Wellington singer-songwriter shares a poignant collection of emotional and vulnerable experiences through the pop medium in his first official release as Lontalius.

Now Lontalius has announced his hometown album release show, set for Friday April 15th at the PreFab Hall in Wellington.

International media attention continues as earlier this week, Johnson guest starred on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show where he discussed I'll Forget 17 and a few of the album highlights on the infamous segment, It's Album Time.

In the short time he has been writing, recording and producing, Lontalius has gone from making bedroom-pop remixes to fully developed, raw and relatable love songs; made fans out of fellow New Zealand stars Lorde and Troye Sivan; collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign and Ryan Hemsworth (including releasing several tracks on Hemsworth's Secret Songs).

From the Wellington show, Eddietravels to the U.S. to play Lollapallooza late July in his other guise as Race Banyon, all of which is evolving into a move to L.A. for the young musician.
