Artist: Villainy

Date / Venue: Thursday December 3rd, 2015 - Lucha Lounge, Auckland

As I approached the Lucha Lounge, who other than Neill Fraser (vocals and guitar) is standing in front of me, I could tell this was going to be a great night already. The Lucha Lounge is a very Petit venue, it should have come as no surprise to see the rest of the band talking amongst the crowd; Thom Watts - lead guitar, James Dylan - bass, and Dave Johnston - drums,

Playing their Dead Sight album front to back, with everything they had,it was an exceptionally amazing show. The devoted fans were putting on a spectacle of their own! Having such a great time, it's impossible not to join in! The sound was immaculate, really adding to their raw powerful sound.

Villainy really know how to put on a show, they have the best on stage banter. After playing their album, they played four encore songs: Alligator Skin, Ammunition, Cinnamon and Gather Yourselves.

Unfortunately there was a little bit of technical difficulty, during the change with Neills guitar. Deciding to move on without the 6 string beauty, they smashed the last songs, the crowd was going insane! Truly an amazing night. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make last night possible and doing so well.

Villainy are playing the same time and place next Thursday, make sure you come along and I'll definitely see you there.
